Mamen Sánchez has a degree in Information Sciences from the Universidad Complutense and has taken doctorate courses in Literature and History at the Sorbonne and English Literature at universities in London and Oxford. She is a deputy editor at the magazine ¡Hola! and editor of ¡Hola! México. She is married and has five children. She has published three books for children and the novels Gafas de sol para días de lluvia and Agua del limonero.
