Empar Moliner

Empar Moliner (Santa Eulalia de Ronçana, 1966) debuted with the collection of stories L’ensenyador de pisos que odiava els mims, which was followed by the novel Feli, esthéticienne (winner of the 2000 Josep Pla Prize). Later she published the volumes of stories T’estimo si he begut (winner of the 2005 Lletra d’Or Award), which was brought to the stage by David Selvas with great success, and No hi ha terceres persones. She has also published the essay collections Busco senyor per amistat i el que sorgeixi  and ¿Desitja guardar els canvis?In 2012 she published the novel La col·laboradora, followed by Contes infantils contra tot pronòstic, and in 2015 she won the Mercè Rodoreda Prize with Tot això ho faig perquè tinc molta por. In 2021 she published the short-story collection És que abans no érem així . She is a regular contributor on radio and television and in the press.
