Mar Cantero Sánchez, born in Madrid, is a writer and coach. She is a columnist for the magazines Cosmopolitan, Psicología Práctica, and Piensa, es gratis (by Joaquín Lorente). She has published both romantic and comic novels such as El árbol de los pájaros alegres (The Happy Bird Tree, Finalist in the Premio Ellas), Los viernes, el paro duerme (On Fridays, the Strike Sleeps, Finalist for the Premio Ateneo Joven de Sevilla), La viajera de la felicidad (The Happiness Traveller) and El matarratas (The Rat-killer). She is also the author of the books Escribe para ser feliz (Write to be Happy), El viaje de las palabras (The Journey of Words) and Las palabras viajeras (Travelling Words). She has written for Mente Sana (by Jorge Bucay), Integral, and the fashion blog ON Boutique, has received several literary prizes and published stories and poems in magazines and literary anthologies.
