Until We Run Out of Stars

Original title: Hasta que nos quedemos sin estrellas

Maia Allen lives in Milnrow with her mother, an inattentive alcoholic who’s never been the same since her daughter Deneb’s accident.

Liam Harper is a well-known Youtuber. He’s just turned nineteen, on the same day his YouTube channel hit the mark of twelve million subscribers. Yet Liam feels totally lost and unmotivated in life.

One Saturday morning Maia goes to her car and finds a guy sleeping in the back seat. Shocked, she wonders how he ended up there and, more importantly, how she can get him out.

When she finally manages to wake him up, the boy is totally disoriented. He introduces himself as Liam Harper, but Maia has no idea who he is. Liam doesn't understand what he could have done on the night of his birthday to end up in some stranger’s car four hundred kilometers from London. He needs a charger for his phone and, most importantly, he needs to get back home somehow. The only one who can help him is Maia and, despite her grouchiness, he kind of likes her.

Since that fortuitous encounter, their lives intertwine as if in a cosmic dance. Fickle fate will make sure that won’t be the last time they see each other.
